My Favorite Time of Day is Rosemary

Every morning we get up and water the gardens. We've Hibiscus and Salvia Greggi, Roses and Mexican Heather, Acacia trees and Birds of Paradise. My favorite is the Rosemary in the front courtyard. The water from the hose is always warm and acts like a diffuser. The wind this morning was gusty, warm and spun like a top, swirling both my hair and the rosemary perfurme up and around me. The sun had not yet burnt through a cloudy haze; the sky was a dirty blue. And it was silent except for the soft "tappa" of the hose water and the air buffering about me.
